Disability Care supports people who have limited mobility or communication capacity and are living alone or have a live-in carer.
The Basic Disability Care bundle includes a falls detector pendant that will instantly detect if you have had a fall and send an alarm to our 24/7 Emergency Response Centre.
If you require assistance or feel unwell you can also manually activate the alarm by pressing the button on the pendant. Once the alarm is raised (either automatically or manually), the In-home Communicator Base provides 2-way hands free communication between you and our Emergency Response Centre.
The Button Ability Switch is an alternative means of requesting assistance, once activated an alert will be sent to the LifeLink’s 24/7 Emergency Response Centre.
LifeLink’s highly trained Emergency Response Centre operators can assist you by contacting neighbours or family to help, or call 000 emergency services when necessary. The LifeLink operator will remain on the phone with you and continue monitoring your health to ensure you do not require an escalation in the response.
