Innovations in Health & Community Care Forum

On Thursday 3 March, Tunstall Healthcare along with community care, health and technology providers Community Resourcing World Wide and Feros Care hosted the Innovations in Health and Community Care Forum at Old Parliament House, Canberra.

Representatives from the Department of Health & Ageing, Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, HACC Reform, Productivity Commission, Population and Health Division, Acute Care Division, International Association of Homes and Services from Ageing, and leading media and industry publications listened to key speakers who presented opportunities for innovation and changed models of care and practice in Australia.

The event was a fantastic success with all of the speakers presenting compelling arguments on the social, environmental and economical need to better utilise technology in the care of older Australians and people living with chronic conditions.

It is hoped that government and key bodies will review their current care procedures and plan for a more effective and sustainable future care plan.
