Key Safe
The key safe allows safe and secure storage of a conveniently located spare key for quick and emergency property access. Strong and secure, it holds up to five keys and uses a code system for access. Pull Cord
The pull cord can be placed in areas of the home that give quick and easy access for a person to raise an emergency alert. If a person forgets to wear their pendant to bed at night then a pull cord near the bed would be a good choice for them. Equally, one can be placed in the toilet or the bathroom to provide added peace of mind.Fall Detector
Help Button

These sensors are used to monitor or sense activity or inactivity over a certain time frame. They will generate an automatic alert according to their individual settings determined at time of installation. The Response Centre may make voice contact with the person over the base alarm speaker, or contact family or friends, or escalate to emergency services if necessary.
Passive Infra-red Sensor
The passive infra-red (PIR) sensor is installed in the home and programmed to detect activity or inactivity depending on the needs or condition of the user. For example it is set to the timings of their usual daily activities such as going to the bathroom or kitchen. When the PIR does not sense any activity in the room it has been installed in, over a preset time, it will activate an alert to the Response Centre.Pressure Mat

This is to be organised by client and at client cost, additional to LifeLink Establishment Fee.Water Flood Detector
The water detector provides early warning of water overflow and a potential flood situation in the home. It is neat, discreet and wireless. Response Centre Service
Our response centre provides a 24 hour, seven day a week response service that allows people to maintain their independence and confidence in the home, knowing that help will be available if and when they need it. The response centre is staffed by friendly and experienced consultants who will assist a client to get the help they need in an emergency situation. This may be a family member, a neighbour or emergency services if necessary.
All consultants are required to have a senior first aid certificate, which allows them to both identify and understand the urgency of various situations.
By law, monitoring consultants are not able to give medical advice, however, our consultants are recruited with a demonstrated ability to co-ordinate appropriate assistance, manage multiple emergencies at any given time offering reassurance, care and quality service.
Our consultants stay on line reassuring the client until help arrives.
More than 94% of the calls that occur at the response centre are social calls, such as pendant testing or false activation. However, every call is treated with the same urgency and compassion. Those who have mistakenly activated their alarm are always reassured that that is ok, with the opportunity used to reinforce that the response centre cares and is always there to help.
95% of alarm calls to the response centre are answered within 15 seconds exceeding the Australian Standard. The monitoring centre can also identify low battery applications and mains failure calls to the client so that any faulty or unplugged equipment can be identified and serviced.
In the event of faulty equipment, LifeLink can also provide welfare phone calls to the client to ensure the client is reassured until a replacement alarm is installed.
